Following Rachel’s passing in 2015, we lost funding from our major donor, who assumed we would close up shop. Since that time our main focus has been on completing work on Rachel’s archive. We want to insure that all her work survives, so that it may continue to inspire and instruct future generations. It is a painstaking process that requires precision and long working hours.  We still have a lot of work to do.

TOHUBOHU! Extreme Theatre Ensemble is Rachel’s legacy company, hand-picked and nurtured over many years. TOHUBOHU is not a money making endeavor; it is a labor of love for all involved, and we remain dedicated to the form.  We have survived this long on company savings, which are growing thin. We need to expand our programming and continue our work, but this cannot be done without your help.
