Acting/Improvisation Teacher KATE NOONAN offers an intensive workshop for young people ages 13-20 at Espace DbD!  Four hours and four Saturdays each month – the workshop delivers a hands-on exploration of “Total Theatre” ideology, encompassing all aspects of performance including improvisation, composition, choreography, set making, lights, mask work, costumes and beyond.  Maximum 12 Participants.

FEE: $125.00 per month

The above address, located on the west side of Robertson Blvd., between "Lighting Electric Supply" and "Tony Tee Dance Studio", 3 blocks North of the Santa Monica Freeway underpass. (#10 Freeway, Robertson exit, North).  IMPORTANT NOTICE:  For those who have allergies to DOGS.

FOOD & DRINK:  Eat breakfast at home. There will be TWO meal breaks on Saturday and Sunday. You may bring your own food, there is a refrigerator available, or eat at a nearby restaurant (although it's slim pickings around here).  For the rest of the time, please bring plenty of fruit and protein snacks for breaks (approximately every three hours).  We will provide herb tea.  You may bring bottled water, juice, protein bars, fruit and snacks for a mid-workshop energy boost.  NO FOOD OR DRINK (besides bottled water) will be allowed in workshop space.  

WHAT TO BRING: 1. Wear clean work clothes each day of the workshop. Comfortable loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants & T-shirts are best. Bring extra sweaters in case it gets cold at night - think layers. 2. A notepad or tape recorder (if you want to take notes). 3. Any musical instrument you would like to play/share with the group!

CHEMICALS: We ask that you abstain from the use of alcohol, drugs, chemicals or medication not prescribed by your physician for at least 24 hours before, and during the weekend and weekly class.
